JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS The Fox Graduate School's Office of Graduate Educational Engagement Programs (OGEEP) is committed to and accountable for advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion in all its forms. The Summer Program Coordinator works closely and reports directly to the Associate Dean for Graduate Education and will periodically meet with the OGEEP Senior Staffto assist in planning and executing the Summer and some Fall semester OGEEP activities. The Summer Program Coordinator will be responsible for assisting in planning and executing the professional development activities of OGEEP. Additional tasks also assigned to this role include serving as the coordinator, overseeing supply, and catering orders for professional development and academic support activities, developing and maintaining collaborative working relationships with GraduateFaculty and Multicultural Leaders, and assisting theOGEEP staff in tasks as needed. Other tasks include using CANVAS, Jotform, and Survey Monkey for all groups participating in OGEEP activities. Developing, organizing, and administering evaluations; and administering a survey for SROP participants or other OGEEP event participants and faculty members, and developing an electronic system to track the success of SROP alumni and other Penn State alumni who have been a part of OGEEP activities. Qualified applicants will have prior experience organizing professional development and team building activities; have prior experience working with students in an advising/counseling capacity; have a record of conducting research within their field; and have a proven history of working collaboratively with students, faculty, and staff. Qualified applicants should also possess excellent written and verbal communication skills and have an interest in/the ability to organize professional development events.
