Summary

Summary: The Senior Supply Chain Financial Analyst plays an integral part of the plant operations team by providing financial leadership and expertise. Through analysis and recommendations, this role is key to driving and improving performance, implementation of standard processes and strengthening of financial internal controls. This role maintains on-going support for manufacturing strategic financials and cost saving initiatives including preparation of presentations. The Senior Financial Analyst participates in key activities and projects that drive and support the growth of Chobani.

Responsibilities
  • Perform monthly budget report analysis and review/work with department managers to ensure proper allocation of department funds
  • Maintain regular communication Finance and Manufacturing teams in order to ensure the accuracy of cost related inputs and the ultimate impact to profitability
  • Provide weekly analysis of production yields and provide reasons for fluctuations
  • Develop weekly reconciliations and scrap reports
  • Prepare monthly production reports for use in variance analysis and to journalize monthly earned standard recovery
  • Perform monthly budget report analysis and review/work with department managers to ensure proper allocation of department funds
  • Reconcile specific general ledger accounts as assigned, and make correcting entries as required
  • Provide support to the team in the month end close process and financial reporting package
  • Assist with periodic physical Inventory counts
  • Liaise with inventory personnel on reasons for inventory write-offs
  • Provide weekly and monthly KPI reports to plant leadership and executive Finance focusing on business performance and continuous improvement by highlighting key insights
  • Prepare ledger account analysis and monthly journal entries
  • Play a role in the development and maintenance of accounting systems, processes, policies and internal controls
  • Work with external auditors during periodic reviews and assist in preparation of annual audit schedules
  • Lead teams (both within and outside of finance) through waste elimination projects
  • Complete other tasks as needed to support finance and operations
Requirements
  • Bachelors degree with concentration in Finance, Accounting or equivalent degree
  • 4-6 years of Finance and/or Accounting experience
  • 3 or more years of Manufacturing, Inventory, and Fixed Asset experience
  • Ability to collaborate, delegate, train and mentor direct reports (if applicable)
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of general accounting principles and cost accounting in areas of Factory costing, Contract Manufacturing, Logistics, Inventory and Procurement
  • Ability to apply analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks conforming to shifting priorities, demands and timelines
  • Proficient in SAP and Power BI experience preferred
  • Advanced MS Excel/Power Point skills required
  • Ability to provide thought leadership to shape future decisions
  • Ability to work independently, and proactively develop solutions with minimal guidance
  • Highly organized and attentive to detail, with the ability to work quickly and accurately and to consistently meet deadlines
  • Willingness to learn and ability to adapt and balance competing priorities in a fast-paced work environment
  • Proactive nature, with demonstrated ability to take initiative in problem-solving situations
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively and on cross-functional teams
  • Willingness to give feedback and recommendations to others as well as receive feedback to learn and grow

Compensation Range:$77,000.00-$115,000.00, plus bonus.
