Master Data Specialist - Hybrid/Remote

The Master Data Specialists are located in each Distribution Centers for on hand support and maintenance of the EWM Master Data. They create and maintain systemic location, put away logic, pick paths and over 40 other master data tables that control everything in the Distribution Centers. By working with the Distribution Centers' management, the Master Data Specialist can provide insight into possible systemic changes to improve overall performance. This department functions collectively across all Distribution Centers.

Pay: $27.44 - 34.30/hour (Based on Experience)

Job Responsibilities

• Monitoring and maintaining the master data in the EWMS system
• Troubleshooting issues as they arise in the Distribution Centers and Delivery depots.
• Set up and maintenance of systemic locations, assigning article attributes specific to the warehouses.
• Partnering with all departments in the warehouses to assist in improving workflow and processes.
• Set up and maintenance of systemic pick paths, picking queues, and put away logic.
• Adjusting master data tables to accommodate and change in work schedule (holidays, extra days to the work week, Etc.)

Competencies

• Working knowledge of WMS Systems including SAP
• Demonstrated ability to quickly recognize and diagnose systemic and transactional trends and patterns
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Confidence to function as part of a broader team that sometimes may have differing opinions and perspectives.
• Strong sense of urgency, flexibility and ability to work in a fast paced, priority changing environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Programs (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Access, Power BI, SharePoint, InfoPath) and willingness to learn.
• Proficiency in SAP Programs (ECC, EWM, BOBJ) and willingness to learn.

Work Environment:

• In the Distribution Center, occasionally travel to other DCs, depots, or stores.
• Collaborative work environment with cross-functional teams

• Field visits: walking

Expected Hours of Work and Travel

• Weekly hours: 40 - 50 hours (salaried)
• Travel: occasional travel (domestic as needed)

Required Education and Experience

• High School Diploma, GED or Technical High School Diploma or equivalent
• 5 Years' experience in a Warehouse/DC atmosphere
• Strong verbal/written communication and organizational skills
• Strong product/value recognition
• Skilled at managing competing priorities
• Detail oriented and accurate

Preferred Education and Experience

• Advanced knowledge of most Windows Applications including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, InfoPath, Access, and Outlook
• Working knowledge of DC internal operations including Shipping, Receiving, Returns, Inventory Control, Delivery, Customer Care, Loss Prevention, and Information Management System
