Position Title (Job Code): Industrial Fire Chief S01754 Grade Level: 15 Reports to (Title): Reading Corporate H&S Manager Principal Purpose of Position: The Industrial Fire Chiefoversees all aspects of fire safety and emergency response within a specific industrial facility, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and providing leadership to the fire department.They are responsible for managing the volunteer Emergency Response Team (ERT) personnel, developing and implementing policies, and overseeing all fire-related activities, including training, prevention, and suppression.The position is responsible for maintaining the fleet of mobile fire protection and emergency response equipment while ensuring all emergency response personnel are properly trained in its use.
