Sales Manager - Elevity

Job Purpose:

The purpose of the Director of Sales is to drive Elevity to meet our revenue goals, through earning new and retaining current clients. This is accomplished by developing sales talent into Elite High Performing Sales Professionals along with creating programs and messaging for our Client Success teams to manage current clients.

Responsibilities:



  • Drive client growth through both Elevity's existing client relationships and new client acquisition to meet or exceed annual goals.
  • Drive success and team compliance by leading sales activity for strategically targeted solutions.
  • Emphasize accountability and quickly refocus team members who become disengaged or fail to perform to standards.
  • Establish and assign sales territories, sales goals, promotions, and incentive plans.
  • Help support and drive all sales programs.
  • Effectively and accurately manage sales reports to drive behaviors.
  • Hold regular sales meetings to educate and motivate team.
  • Train, emphasize, and enforce CRM discipline and forecasting discipline with your team.
  • Build relationships with our vendor partners and collaborate with the Solutions team to identify future client needs.
  • Interact with Solutions, Marketing and Technical Service to promote consistent and positive interaction with clients.
  • Continually evaluate our target client profiles and strategic solutions to ensure Elevity meets our short- and long-term goals.
  • Acts as a liaison between sales and other departments.
  • Supervise and develop members of the Elevity Sales team including, hiring, firing, work allocation, training, and problem resolution.
  • Conduct leadership components of the performance review process including establishing appropriate and measurable goals, reviewing progress throughout the year, documenting performance, and conducting performance reviews.
  • Autonomously make administrative and procedural decisions and judgments within area of focus.
  • Ensure that the work environment is safe, including compliance with OSHA standards and documentation.
  • Support and advocate Company mission, values, goals and guiding principles set forth by leadership; become a champion of Elevity initiatives and cultivate a positive winning culture.
  • Miscellaneous job duties as assigned.


Requirements:



  • Bachelor's degree or 4 years of related experience with a high school diploma/equivalent.
  • 5+ years Business to Business sales experience.
  • Proficiency in all aspects of the sales cycle.
  • Excellent negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office products.
  • Ability to consistently maintain a high level of proficiency with all Elevity Offerings.
  • Driven assertive personality.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Able to demonstrate a high level of strategic selling skills in opportunities of all sizes.
  • Desire to motivate and lead sales team.
  • Willingness and ability to travel to all locations on a regular basis.
  • Valid driver's license and appropriate auto insurance as dictated by state requirements.
  • Access to reliable transportation.



Preferred Qualifications:



  • Passion for continuous improvement.
  • Prior experience managing a P&L and an understanding of business financials.
  • Prior sales supervisor/lead experience.

  • Direct Reports: IT Service Consultants, Senior/Strategic Business Development Managers, Client Success Specialists
  • Indirect Reports: none
