The wound care nurse is responsible to assess, plan, implement and evaluate the ostomy care for inpatients. S/he is involved in the acute, chronic and rehabilitative care of persons with abdominal stomas or ostomies, draining wounds, fistulae, dermal tissue trauma and urinary incontinence. This position is part of the Massachusetts Nurses Association Bargaining Unit at Cooley Dickinson Hospital. Education Bachelor's Degree Nursing required Can this role accept experience in lieu of a degree?
