This position coordinates, administers and implements programs by providing operational planning, program management and evaluation, problem-resolution and technical assistance. This position performs advanced operational assignments related to Student Affairs, serves as a resource and liaison to staff and students, may serve on committees at the college and/or District level, and/or routinely leads and/or supervises other staff or teams on an ongoing basis. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's Degree from a regionally accredited institution in education, sociology, business administration, or related field and four (4) years of full-time equivalent progressively responsible student services experience coordinating, administering, planning, or evaluating. OR Associate's degree from a regionally accredited institution in education, sociology, business administration, or related field and six (6) years of full-time equivalent progressively responsible student services experience coordinating, administering, planning, or evaluating. An equivalent combination of the conferred degree and directly related full-time work experience as described above sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above, unless otherwise subject to any other requirements set forth in law or regulation, may be considered . Desired Qualifications 1. Two (2) years of experience working in an educational environment providing support services in higher education 2. Two (2) years of experience working with a multiple student population 3. Two (2) years of customer service experience with a high degree of public contact including in person, telephone, and e-mail 4. Two (2) years of experience working in student services I.e. advisement, counseling, admissions, procedures including online Student Information System (e.g., PeopleSoft) and working with federal and state requirements (e.g., lawful presence/residency determination) 5. Two (2) years of experience leading teams with demonstrated successes 6. Two (2) years of experience working in a team environment Special Working Conditions May be required to work at multiple sites or locations. Work Schedule Varies. May be required to lift or carry up to 25lbs with or without a reasonable accommodation. May be required to view a computer monitor for a prolonged period of time.
