Reliability Lead

The Reliability Lead is responsible for leading the site's reliability program, driving improvement in asset performance, and reducing unplanned downtime and maintenance costs. This role oversees the reliability team as well as serves as a reliability engineer for a defined area or discipline.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop the reliability team
  • Own and drive initiative to increase MTBF, reduce reactive maintenance, and optimize maintenance spend
  • Serve as reliability engineer for defined area or discipline
  • Oversee Mechanical Integrity and Inspection programs
  • Oversee MRO storeroom personnel to ensure critical spare parts availability and cost-effective inventory control
  • Support and expand PdM technologies and asset health monitoring
  • Implement reliability KPIs

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering (mechanical, industrial, or electrical preferred)
  • 5+ years of experience in reliability
  • Strong understanding of reliability tools (RCA, FMEA, etc)
  • Strong leadership and change management
