The Waymo Driver powers Waymo One, a fully autonomous ride-hailing service, and can also be applied to a range of vehicle platforms and product use cases. The Waymo Driver has provided over one million rider-only trips, enabled by its experience autonomously driving tens of millions of miles on public roads and tens of billions in simulation across 13+ U.S. states.

On the Waymo Marketing team, you will help to connect people with the magic and impact of Waymo's autonomous driving technology. We build thoughtful marketing strategy to deliver messages that matter to our audience, communicated through email, push notifications and in-app surfaces. Our team has the unique opportunity to create engaging campaigns across the user lifecycle and run in-depth analyses that result in actionable insights. We also shape Waymo's go-to-market initiatives, helping to transform Waymo into a thriving business with a growing user base.

You will be based in or around the Bay area, and report into our Product Marketing Manager.

You will:



  • Develop data-driven audience strategies by synthesizing insights from multiple sources, analyzing rider behavior patterns, and translating findings into actionable recommendations.
  • Lead end-to-end campaign strategy implementation across the user lifecycle, from acquisition to retention, by designing, launching, and optimizing campaigns that drive long-term value.
  • Identify and execute optimization opportunities for Waymo's lifecycle campaigns and promotions through strategic analysis.
  • Measure and attribute the ROI of all lifecycle marketing programs, and use these insights to inform future budget allocation and promotional strategy.
  • Develop A/B and multivariate testing plans to optimize marketing initiatives. This includes defining clear hypotheses, identifying key metrics for evaluation and ensuring proper tracking is in place.


You have:



  • 7+ years in a marketing analytics or growth marketing role with a proven track record of owning and driving strategic analysis to improve cross-channel campaigns.
  • Expert proficiency in SQL for complex data extraction, manipulation, and analysis.
  • Expertise in designing, executing, and analyzing A/B and multivariate tests with a strong understanding of statistical significance and p-values.
  • Solid understanding of customer lifecycle marketing principles, experiment methodologies, and content creation strategies for different channels.
  • Hands-on experience with one or more marketing platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo, Braze, Iterable, Salesforce Marketing Cloud) for campaign setup and execution.
  • Strong communication skills to present complex findings and strategic recommendations to stakeholders at all levels of the organization, including leadership.

The expected base salary range for this full-time position across US locations is listed below. Actual starting pay will be based on job-related factors, including exact work location, experience, relevant training and education, and skill level.
