We are looking for a passionate software tester that is ready to work on the cutting edge of FinTech software solutions. This is an excellent opportunity to become a core member of a rapidly growing software development team. You'll have a love of technology, amazing attention to detail and the ability to think like an end user. You will possess solid testing skills and have the ability to grow with our automation team. We love to write code to test code and expect you to have a sound understanding of engineering best practices and the drive to deliver the very best.

As a core member of our team, you will work closely with the business to build cutting-edge solutions following the lean/agile development process. This is an opportunity to join a growing team of talented individuals focused on using the latest technology to address complex real-world problems impacting the investment industry.

This team follows a hybrid schedule with 2-3 days in the office.

What you will do:

  • Write unit test code in Java and Typescript
  • Use tools like Postman to test web applications and APIs
  • Write technical test cases in JIRA/Confluence
  • Write Cucumber tests in Java/Gherkin

What we need from you:

  • Experience coding for the past 2-5 years
  • Experience writing tests in Playwright, Junit, Cucumber or similar automation frameworks
  • Experience with unit testing, regression, performance and end to end methodologies
  • Experience working directly on a product development team
  • Experience working in cloud-based development environments (AWS Preferred)
  • Experience writing test cases and being able to communicate to product owners your results.
  • Extensive experience testing on web and mobile based software architectures.
  • The ability to understand how to the find root cause of defects and present your findings
  • Experience managing and building test environments
  • Working knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases
  • Experience testing REST based APIs (XML, JSON, etc.)
  • BS or MS in Computer Science or a related field

The base salary pay for this role is $90,000 - $100,000 per year.

This position will also be eligible to earn a discretionary bonus each year, subject to company approval.
