SUMMARY: The IT Manager is responsible for the operational effectiveness of computer systems through requirement identification, specifications, costs, and timelines including the leadership of all related technical team members.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:



  • Regular review of system reports and logs to ensure continuity of system operations, identifying any problematic systems/programs and configure strategic solutions.
  • Coordinate with department leaders and users to identify efficiency opportunities, developing strategies for implementation.
  • Establish developmental standards to ensure programming operations is according to best practices, including testing and quality assurance.
  • Drive the evaluation and selection of all specialized software products to enhance all aspects of Wheeler operations and support functions.
  • Ownership of the parameter development, implementation, and ongoing support of the enterprise resource planning system.
  • Coordinate daily workflow assignments of programming and other technical staff necessary to support developmental operations.
  • Other duties as assigned.


MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:



  • Bachelor's degree in information technology or related field and a minimum of 5 year of relevant work experience

    • or an additional 4 years of relevant work experience in lieu of degree.


  • Three (3) to five (5) years of programming experience (DDS, RPG, CLP, QRY, DFU, etc.).
  • Two (2) to four (4) years of leadership experience.
  • Ability to recognize problems and provide troubleshooting options.
  • Ability to communicate verbally and in writing to various levels of the organization.


OTHER:



  • Travel up to 25%.
  • The selected applicant will be subject to a background check and drug testing.
