Salary Range:

$85,400.00 - $140,900.00

(Depending on knowledge, skills, abilities and location. Certain level jobs may be eligible for bonus, commission, and/or equity awards.)

Job Description Summary:

This position serves as a senior subject matter expert with sole responsibility for the support and management for one or more complex and strategic products, systems, and/or applications used by one or more business units. The Product Manager III will work closely with senior management to determine strategic direction for all applications and systems, and is responsible for ensuring the products, systems and applications are structured and function in such a way to contribute and assist a business unit in meeting their strategic goals and objectives.

Job Details:

PRIMARY FUNCTIONS:

  • Provide overall management of, and sole responsibility for, all aspects of assigned products, systems and/or applications.
  • Provide senior subject matter expertise and act as a trusted advisor to business units, including reviewing and/or creating product roadmaps, organizing solution demos, product training and resource materials.
  • Develop creative ideas and solutions for addressing product/application problems and enhancing applications.
  • Provide escalation support and ownership for researching and remediating production issues, in partnership with third party vendors and business unit support teams.
  • Coordinate product management activities with other product managers to ensure synergy and efficiency.
  • Proactively identify, manage, and implement application upgrades and releases, following application change management procedures.
  • Partner with Project Management Office on projects related to assigned products, systems and/or applications.
  • Autonomously lead moderate-scale initiatives in support of product, system and/or application enhancements.
  • Remain familiar with information security and regulatory requirements, and partner with business units to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, information security and Bank policy and procedures.
  • Develop and foster strong and continuing relationships with business partners.
  • Maintain consistent, productive relationships with application vendors, and serve as a liaison and escalation path between vendors and business unit representatives.
  • Maintain responsibility for service/support management, SLA review and provide guidance and subject matter expertise on contracts, amendments and statements of work.
  • Provide support in the development of product marketing materials, pricing strategies, communication, validation and training plans.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum 10 years' experience in financial services, quantitative business analysis, or equivalent.
  • Bachelor's degree (experience may substitute)
  • Proven ability to develop deep and trusted relationships with partners across business units
  • Strong ability to provide leadership and act as a trusted advisor to senior management and business representatives on all aspects of product management and development
  • Self-starter with strong, demonstrated ability to work independently with little direction or guidance from manager
  • Proven collaboration, influencing and consensus building skills
  • Demonstrated analytical skills
  • Ability to turn business needs into detailed requirements
  • Ability to present logical, well-reasoned and well-organized presentations/discussions, particularly of complex concepts and/or designs
  • Ability to diffuse tense situations and discussions to successfully resolve differences/issues, and detect nuances in personal interactions and application functionality
  • Wide degree of creativity and demonstrated "breakaway thinking"
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously and provide clear direction to business partners and team members in ambiguous situations
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
