Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Complete quarterly portfolio valuation of private company investments and financial metric analysis; proactively analyze results and changes in valuation. Communicate with senior level executives, investment bankers, and private equity sponsors to obtain a thorough understanding of the investment including structure and waterfalls. Analyze NMC's private debt and equity investments. Develop and create financial metric reporting of portfolio companies. Use analytical judgment to assess financial ratios / covenants to determine the financial health of portfolio companies. Work closely with investment professional by providing financial expertise on investments. Support the LP and Infrastructure teams by preparing the underwriting of private equity and infrastructure funds. Work with LP team on reporting capabilities from iLevel/Cobalt. Create quarterly pricing templates and complete any necessary quarterly manual pricing. Complete cash flow reporting, attribution, IRR calculations and analysis for the department. Ensure compliance with internal controls of the private equity valuation process. Develop and update all department marketing presentations and communications. Respond to auditor valuation requests. Assist with supporting the Coinvest Funds' administration as needed. Various NMC special projects and reporting.
Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years of work experience in private equity valuations. Minimum of 2 years of work experience in audit, transaction advisory services, investment valuation or private equity administration. BA/BS in Finance, Accounting, or Economics A strong working knowledge of accounting principles and practices related to investments, demonstrated decision making, and analytical skills. Demonstrated experience with financial statements and analysis including strong detail orientation. Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast moving, demanding, and dynamic environment. A high degree of personal initiative and self-motivation is required, as well as the ability to work independently to find solutions to issues. Ability to multi-task responsibilities to meet tight deadlines of deliverables with accurate results. Strong interpersonal skills. CPA preferred.

Geographic Specific Pay Structure: 195 - Structure 110: 84,350.00 USD - 156,650.00 USD
195 - Structure 115: 88,130.00 USD - 163,670.00 USD
