The Role

Join our University Relations (emerging talent) program at Lumen as a Sr EIC Analyst. You will be responsible for implementing recruiting strategies forearly career programs. Collaborate with the Manager of University Relations to develop global programs and initiatives aimed at enhancing Lumen's brand reputation within university campuses, attracting diverse early career talent, and delivering top-tier emerging talent programs worldwide. Conduct early career recruiting activities on university campuses across North America and assist in the development, coordination, and implementation of Lumen's EIC program, guiding hires through the initial steps of their career journey. Additionally, support efforts to attract diverse talent for early career programs on a global scale.

The Main Responsibilities
  • Play a key role in continuously enhancing Lumen's early in career programs; including rotational program development and program implementation.
  • Manages project team activities; analyzes complex business problems to provide appropriate solutions; implements solutions that leverage technology to accomplish stated strategic business objectives.
  • Develop integrated program plans that consider multiple project deliverables and proactively identify critical impediments to meeting project objectives.
  • Conduct regular team meetings to enhance teamwork and communicate process and procedure updates, demonstrating action-oriented leadership when faced with a project roadblock.
  • Coordinate projects and programs across multiple business groups to ensure timely delivery of objectives
  • Understand, evaluate, and balance Lumen's ability to deliver new products, services and technologies within budgetary and scheduling guidelines.
  • Effectively communicate program status, risks and issues to leadership and present options and recommendations for resolution.
  • Develop and execute programmatic aspects of the EIC Program to attract, engage, and convert internship talent; identifying resources and partnering with the broader Lumen ecosystem to bring innovative and development opportunities to early career talent.
  • Guide the direction of our Early in Career programs on a global scale to streamline and centralize efforts for a consistent and best-in-class experience.
  • Evaluate program effectiveness, ensuring alignment with industry trends and best practices.
  • Lead the University Relations social strategy, partnering with Recruitment Marketing and broader communications and social teams, to amplify Lumen's brand across a wide variety of social platforms.
  • Ensure that through our various programs and initiatives, University Relations reflects the organization's North Star culture, connecting to our target talent audience.
  • Collaborate with the Manager, University Relations to evaluate and secure University and Early Career Organization partnerships to meet talent attraction objectives.
  • Lead, coordinate, and participate in on-campus and virtual recruitment events to ensure we are attracting an early in career talent pipeline.
What We Look For in a Candidate
  • 5 years of professional experience with a bachelor's degree, or 3 years of experience with a Master's Degree or equivalent education and experience.
  • 2+ years' experience working in full-cycle university recruitment or within an academic institution.
  • Experience with program or project management; University and student events coordination, internships, co-ops, or other student or career programs.
  • Experience building and driving program activities to serve and attract student and early career talent.
  • Proven interpersonal skills to communicate effectively and build partnerships.
  • Experience with applicant tracking & candidate management systems and resume databases (e.g., SuccessFactors, Phenom People, Yello/WayUp, Handshake, Abode).
  • Autonomous, self-starter who can perform in a dynamic and fluid environment. Strong verbal and written communication skills, organizational and negotiation skills, with a keen focus on delivering business results.
  • Strong people leading skills
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Suite of products.
Compensation

This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience and other relevant factors.

Location Based Pay Ranges:

$66,375 - $88,500 in these states: AL, AR, AZ, FL, GA, IA, ID, IN, KS, KY, LA, ME, MO, MS, MT, ND, NE, NM, OH, OK, PA, SC, SD, TN, UT, VT, WI, WV, and WY.
$69,694 - $92,925 in these states: CO, HI, MI, MN, NC, NH, NV, OR, and RI.
$73,013 - $97,350 in these states: AK, CA, CT, DC, DE, IL, MA, MD, NJ, NY, TX, VA, and WA.
