MIDDLEBURY, IN

Full-Time Onsite

POSITION SUMMARY: The Production Worker - Lamination is responsible for As a Production Worker in Lamination, you will operate machinery and perform tasks to laminate materials according to specifications, ensuring product quality and consistency. This role involves handling raw materials, monitoring the lamination process, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Work effectively in a team environment.
  • Utilize various lamination techniques to produce composite materials for bus production.
  • Follow work instructions, blueprints, and process sheets while maintaining high-quality standards
  • Operate lamination equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Ensure proper setup and maintenance of lamination tools and machinery.
  • Ability to work with minimum supervision.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:

  • HS Diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in lamination or composite materials processing preferred.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
  • Computer and organizational skills.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Goal-oriented and motivated to achieve tasks within set timelines.
  • Previous experience with 5S and lean manufacturing principles is a plus.

Physical & Workplace Requirements:

* Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. regularly, perform repetitive movements (bending, kneeling, crouching), and work on elevated surfaces or confined spaces.

* Must be able to stand and walk on hard surfaces for extended periods (up to 8+ hours).

* Requires visual acuity to read diagnostics and inspect components

* Comfortable working in varying environmental conditions, including noise, dust, fumes, and temperature fluctuations, while wearing PPE (safety glasses, gloves, steel-toed boots, and relevant HV PPE).

* Strong safety awareness and adherence to workplace procedures.

Hourly Wage Rate: $19.50 with increase at 90 days

Standard Hours: Full-time hourly position, and hours/days of work are decided by production schedule and reporting manager.
