Cabinetmaker / Woodworker

We sell only premium quality building products and name brand manufacturers, and our talented artisans create custom woodwork in our Millshop. Brunsell Lumber & Millwork is locally owned and operated, with a highly trained and knowledgeable staff ready to help our customers in every stage of their project. We are now hiring to join our team of custom cabinet makers and wood workers. Our Millwork division produces custom doors, mantels, stair parts, cabinetry and curved moldings and anything our customers can imagine. Every job that comes across your bench is unique, and THAT is what makes working at Brunsell rewarding! If you have experience in one or more of these types of projects, we want to hear from you!

Qualifications

- The ideal candidate will have experience in construction/fabrication tasks, with a strong focus on quality/attention to detail.

- Ability to read and interpret plans/cabinet vision, cad drawings

- Proven experience in woodworking and cabinetry

- Able to collaborate with team members to ensure timely project completion.

- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while operating tools and equipment.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent time management skills.

- Willingness to learn new skills/techniques and problem-solving skills

- Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials using wood working tools and equipment

Responsibilities

- Maintain a high standard of craftsmanship on every project

- Job site measure or template for upcoming projects (must have a valid driver license)

- Maintain a clean and organized workspace

- Ability to calculate board footage and lineal footage for keeping inventory accurate

- Knowledge of mechanical fasteners, cabinet parts, grades and species of hardwoods
