Sr. Director, Human Resources Business Partner

We have an opportunity for a Sr. Director, Hurman Resources Business Partner to join our People and Places team in Santa Clara, CA (HQ), or Tacoma, WA, reporting to the Chief People Officer. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for developing the talent strategy and driving the execution of HR solutions to ensure business success for Infoblox. Collaborating closely with R&D and G&A leadership, you will be a trusted advisor, functioning as an expert on talent and organizational development to senior executives while leading a talented and dedicated team of HRBP professionals. The ideal candidate is passionate about delivering business impact and truly understands the strategic value HR has in supporting and delivering on the business's key objectives. They should be a strategic and operationally savvy leader who can think globally, collaborates with diverse stakeholders, and builds a culture that attracts and enables world-class talent to make a significant impact.

Be a Contributor - What You'll Do



  • Direct, manage and mentor a global team of HRBP's supporting the global R&D, COO and G&A teams, primarily located in North American and India
  • Partner with senior leaders as a trusted business partner to coach and develop executives on people practices that will create a highly engaged culture of high performance
  • Translate business strategy into actionable global workforce plans
  • Prepare, maintain, and use relevant data to inform and build insights for your client groups
  • Establish and implement HR initiatives that effectively communicate and support the Infoblox vision and strategic plan
  • Work with the management team to establish sound succession plans that align with the short- and long-term talent needs of the organization
  • Partner closely with the Talent Acquisition team to develop and support comprehensive recruiting and retention plans to meet the current and future talent needs of the business
  • Working with the Compensation and Benefits team, establish and promote a comprehensive Total Rewards approach that is competitive and cost-effective, establishing leadership in our market
  • Ensure employees have useful tools and training to support successful work performance
  • Increase employee engagement; build a performance-based learning culture
  • Improve operational effectiveness of the HR function and measure the business impact of HR initiatives to ensure your internal customers receive exceptional service and guidance



Be Prepared - What You Bring



  • A minimum of 10 years HR leadership experience; with at least five years in a high-tech organization with a global footprint
  • Demonstrated experience leading and managing global HRBP teams
  • A history of partnering well with senior leadership teams and partners to develop a culture of innovation, excellence, and openness; abilities and ideas that build and improve the culture
  • Critical thinking and data analysis skills with success in working cross-functionally to implement solutions to business issues
  • Ability to build credible relationships with all stakeholders and lead with influence throughout the organization
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skill
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a global, remote, high performing workforce
  • Ability to also have a "roll-up your sleeves" attitude to get the tactical tasks done
  • Impeccable integrity, including sound judgment and professionalism; a forthright approach and willingness to give and receive open and candid feedback to improve leadership and ensure business success
  • A demonstrated ability to mentor and lead outstanding talent
  • Superior interpersonal communication, presentation, and organizational skills
  • Capable, swift decision-maker, able to navigate ambiguity
  • Excellent technology skills; Oracle knowledge a plus
