The salary range for this position takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.

At WGU, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their position, and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is:

Job Description

Job Profile Summary:

The associate quality assurance (QA) analyst is responsible for organizing, analyzing, and simplifying information related to the university's program development initiatives. A successful candidate can manage multiple projects and deadlines while communicating progress on assignments to the appropriate parties on time.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Compiles, analyzes,and interpretsdata to support Program Development'sinitiatives.
  • Actsas a liaison tocross-functionalteams.
  • Point of contact for external contractors assisting on QA projects.
  • Maintainsmobiletesting andcoursequalityrubric,includingmonitoring data and making decisions based on available data.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat.

Job Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Requires broad theoretical job knowledge through advanced education.
  • No required professional experience.

Department Specific Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 3 years' experience in process or workflow management or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1 year experience in quality assurance.
  • Familiarity with JIRA and Salesforce.
  • Experience with Quality Matters and other QA industry standards.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.

Position & Application Details
