Inventory Control Clerk
Who we are looking for:
* Administrate inventory cycle counts and develop standard work procedures.
* Enter data for inventory and cycle count adjustments into the computer database.
* Receive and issue finished goods into a computer database.
* Troubleshoot quantity discrepancies with manufacturing and inspection personnel.
* Prepare reports for cycle counts.
* Participate in physical inventory and adjust as necessary.
* Administrate plant raw materials end-of-month physical inventory.
* Enter PPC metrics report data.
* Oversee additive and resin purchases.
* Distribute monthly resin and impact modifier purchases.
* Gather and enter data for the Recycled Usage report.
* Reconcile all daily and weekly cycle counts of FG based on the final determinations including any approved variances
within % and dollar maximums.
* Inventory sub-ledger responsibility (IC to GL variance report)
* Participate in physical inventory (monthly and year-end) and adjust as necessary.
* Manage raw material additives and resin purchases/inventories.
* Create Purchase Orders in SAGE for all departments and each department's purchasing owners.
* All other duties as assigned.
What you'll bring:
* Minimum of 1-3 years of inventory control experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
* Ability to get along well with a variety of personalities and individuals.
* Ability to grasp and understand business concepts and issues.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
* Good understanding of basic math required for quick and accurate counting and calculations.
* High attention to detail, accuracy, time management, and organization
* Shows initiative.
* Knowledge of Inventory Control systems, i.e., Sage or JDE
* Must wear proper PPE when needed. (safety glasses, ear plugs, steel-toe shoes, gloves, high visibility vest)
* Required to focus on reading/evaluating documents and is expected to have great attention to detail.
* MS Office skills
Within 3 months, you'll:
- Complete any required training
- Have developed relationships with the key stakeholders for this role.
- Be well-versed in Atkore's Business System and the importance of your role to daily operations.

As of the date of this posting, a good faith estimate of the current pay for this position is $29.00 to $37.75. Placement in the range depends on several factors including, but not limited
to, specific competencies, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, relevant experience, skills,
seniority, performance, shift, travel requirements, and business or organizational needs and may change
over time. Other compensation may include, but not limited to, overtime, shift differentials, bonuses,
commissions, stock, and other incentives.
