Job Responsibilities: Performs IMRT QA as directed by the medical physicist to ensure accuracy of radiation treatment plans. Performs mechanical quality assurance on therapy units for monthly and annual QA. Performs and/or assists in the application of specific methods of dosimetry, including ion chamber, TLD, or film measurement as directed by the Medical Physicist. Participates in clinical activities as related to Physics/Dosimetry as required and as directed by the Physics/Dosimetry Manager. Participates in research opportunities as related to Physics/Dosimetry as required and as directed by the Physics/Dosimetry Manager. Assists Physics/Dosimetry in acquiring and transmitting patient related data to include: CT Simulation data sets, diagnostic imaging data sets, prior radiation treatment records.
