DESCRIPTION OF WORK

As a Stock Clerk 2, you will be responsible for receiving, examining, and recording the receipt of goods, as well as placing those goods in proper storage locations. It will be your duty to ensure supply levels are maintained and stock is replenished, while also rotating stock and supply areas according to usage and expiration dates. Additionally, you will maintain monthly usage figures, update and correct inventory records, and identify and report any discrepancies in inventory records. In this role, you will also assist in the identification, relocation, or disposal of surplus property. You will also be expected to operate forklifts, hand pallet trucks, electric pallet trucks, and box trucks.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

  • Temporary, full-time employment (7.5 hours per day/37.5 hours per week)
  • Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch. May change based on operational needs.
  • Overtime as operationally necessary
  • Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

  • One year of experience in stockroom, warehouse, or clerical work; and graduation from high school; or
  • Any equivalent combination of experience and training.

Additional Requirement:

  • You must be able to perform essential job functions.
