Job Summary:



The Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the University of Colorado is seeking a 0.05 FTE Assistant Professor in the field of clinical psychology. The incumbent will investigate and participate in research activities with patients who have suicide ideation and related mental health diagnosis. The incumbent will also manage and supervise funded research projects in implementation science, and suicide prevention.

Key Responsibilities:




  • Implement quality improvement projects on suicide prevention



  • Oversee data management and conduct quantitative and qualitative statistical analysis



  • Oversee the creation of study databases



  • Conduct experiments, collect data, and analyze data



  • Interpret and disseminate study findings



  • Evaluate progress of research and suggest alternative approaches



  • Prepare research results and study protocols for publication in scientific journals, and for presentation at national and international scientific meetings and congresses



  • Identify sources of funding for extending funding



  • Prepare, submit, and manage grants and related budgets



  • Prepare reports related to quality improvement and research projects



  • Develop training and dissemination materials



  • Conduct qualitative research




Work Location: Remote - this role is eligible to work remotely, but the employee must be in the United States.

Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications: Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire.

  • PhD in Clinical Psychology


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in an academic clinical environment


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to communicate effectively, both in writing and verbally
  • Knowledge of regulations regarding research and quality improvement projects
  • Leadership ability

Anticipated Pay Range:



The starting salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been established as HIRING RANGE:

$5,750 to $6,500

The above salary range (or hiring range) represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. This position is not eligible for overtime compensation unless it is non-exempt.
