Responsibilities





  • Processes project invoices and addresses any issues or concerns from vendors pertaining to payment disbursement.





  • Meets Accounts Payable operational standards by contributing information to strategic plans and reviews, implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards and identifying opportunities for improvement.





  • Ensures that vendors are paid accurately and in a timely manner and proper sales/use tax is applied.





  • Coaches the project team on Accounts Payable procedures.





  • Verifies banking details for ACH and wire requests and processes bank payment files via electronic means.





  • Prepares journal entries and reconciliations for various subledgers and/or supporting documentation.





  • Completes month end closing processes as assigned.





  • Assists in the gathering of data for internal and external auditors.





  • Performs other duties as assigned.





Requirements




  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 2 years of experience in accounting/finance or equivalent
