Job Objective:
The purpose of the Store Processing Supervisor is to oversee the production process and the
personnel assigned to that process with a focus on meeting established production/sales
quotas/goals.

Essential Functions:

  1. Assign, direct and ensure completion of daily tasks for processors. Maintain a clean work environment, ensuring that workspaces are prepared for the next day's production.
  2. Train new team members on production expectations and processes.
  3. Provides quality control inspections, ensuring that only the best product makes it to the
    floor. (Good, Better, Best)
  4. Tracks and reports production at scheduled times.
  5. Participates in production processes as needed.
  6. Proficiently uses cash register at locations that require.
  7. Implement assigned strategies to meet product acquisition, production and sales goals for
    the day/week/month.
  8. Diligently implement product rotation process.
  9. Ensures eCommerce quotas are fill by production team.
  10. Communicates with assigned personnel to place supply orders for next day's processing.
  11. Supports management with store maintenance and appearance.
  12. Follow procedures for maintenance and safety concerns.
  13. Communicates with the Store Management regarding all facets of the stores operations
    keeping them updated on all incidents and concerns for assigned areas.
  14. Supports management in creating a positive understanding of policies and procedures.
    a. Directs concerns to management.
  15. Safeguard company assets within area of responsibility.
    a. Execute inventory control protocols to minimize loss through theft.
    b. Optimize use of property, utilities, and product resources to reduce waste.
  16. Must be available for a flexible schedule.
    a. Able to work early shifts, late shifts, and Saturdays as needed.
    b. Able to work some holidays.
    c. Able to transfer to other stores if the need arises.
  17. Other duties as assigned.



Minimum Qualifications:
The requirements listed below are representative of the minimal education, experience, skills, and/or abilities required for this position.

Education: High School Diploma or currently pursuing

Experience: Retail sales production and/or thrift store experience is highly preferred. Has experience following and giving direction.

Skills/Abilities:
- Ability to speak, write and understand English in a manner sufficient for effective communication with leadership and field personnel.
- Basic computer skills including but not limited to the use of payroll program and the ability to learn other programs or systems that are adopted by the TSA ARC.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
- Ability to use basic math skills.

Supervisory Responsibility:
Oversee production team members assigned by management. This may include paid staff and volunteers. Supervise work therapy assignments.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and ability to adjust focus.

Travel:
May be required to travel to various locations for work or training.

Working Conditions:
The work environment for this position is a store environment with a moderate noise level. The environment may be dusty and may experience temperature fluctuations based on weather. May stand for extended periods. Full-time/Part-time position; will require weekend and evening hours.
