Get to Know Your Team:

• Hillcrest Hospital Cushing is a 99-bed community-owned facility offering 24-hour emergency services, cardiology, general surgery, orthopedics, diagnostic imaging, withdrawal stabilization, wound care and urology.

• Performs various polysomnograms and other sleep disorder tests.
• Attaches electrodes and monitors to patients who are participating in a sleep study.
  
• Monitors the patient throughout the sleep study and documents observations
  
• Collects data from various monitors and reports this information to the Medical Director.
  
• Responsible for CPAP titration, BiPAP Titration, Servo Titration Studies and oxygen therapy when
  applicable.
  
• Answers directly to the Respiratory Therapy/Sleep Lab Manager.
  
• The RPSGT also scores and prepares sleep studies for the Physician serving as the Sleep Lab Medical
  Director.

Job Requirements:

• Technical/Vocational Training
• Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) (upon hire)
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
• The Technologist should be able to use the AASM Inter Scorer Reliability program scoring 200 pages of a Sleep Record each month with scoring graded by the AASM.
