The electrophysiology lab has cardiologists, trained in diagnosing and treating heart rhythm disorders (arrhythmias), using advanced equipment to monitor and map the heart's electrical system and treat heart rhythm problems.We take a personalized approach to helping each patient, providing support from a dedicated team and access to advanced equipment and technology.

Scope of work

Thecath lab assistant nurse manager is to provide direct oversight and supervision of all cath lab staff and processes under the direction of the nurse leader. May assists nurse leader in staffing, scheduling, and performance evaluations. The cath lab assistant nurse manager has responsibility for the effective implementation of the philosophy, goals, policies, and procedures, and handling patient concerns in the department.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) Required.
  • Master's degree in nursing Preferred.
  • Two years of recent relevant cath lab nursing required Required.
  • Three+ years of relevant clinical experience Preferred.
  • MI Registered Nurse (RN) Required.
  • AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) Required.
  • AHA Adv Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Required.
