Finance Manager, Laboratory

Supports System Laboratory Director and Senior Leadership with all aspects of Lab finance; development of financial goals, which align with Norton Healthcare overall strategic plan as well as new applications and systems essential to business direction. In addition, responsibilities include communication of Lab business financial health to Lab leadership, financial statement preparation, reconciliation, budget preparation, all daily financial activities and liaison to Norton Healthcare Corporate Finance Department. Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to direct and manage areas of responsibility. Responsible for the integrity and financial accuracy of the Facility's monthly financial statements.

Key Accountabilities:

• Provide financial guidance to hospital lab related to hospital billing, reimbursement and collections.
• Ensures all expenses and revenue are recorded properly
• Reviews monthly billing for compliance with state and federal guidelines.
• Prepares annual budget for hospital laboratories and reports to Senior Finance Leaders.
• Prepare hospital laboratory monthly financial reports and report this data as assigned.

Required:

• Three years in accounting or finance
• Bachelor Degree

Desired:

• Three years in healthcare accounting or finance
• Master Degree
• Certified Public Accountant
