The Strategic Division (SD) supports high-reliability organizations including Navy Strategic Systems Programs (SSP), Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center, and the Department of Energy (DOE), among others. Our support across our client base is expanding rapidly and encompasses important services, such as data analytics and visualization, threat analysis, risk management, modeling and simulation, cost estimating, earned value management, program management, system engineering, independent evaluation, and High Consequence Event prevention.

Strategic Division (SD)/Strategic Development Group (SDG) supports critical U.S. government programs providing Systems Engineering support, Systems Safety support, Financial Analysis support as well as Security Policy, compliance, and assessments. The position is in support of the U.S. Navy Strategic Systems Programs (SSP) Missile Branch (SP27). SPA has an immediate need for a part-time Program Analyst.



Responsibilities

The Program Analyst will provide SME level technical and programmatic support to the TRIDENT II Life Extension 2 (D5LE2) Development Program within Missile Branch, Strategic Systems Programs. They will support headquarters level requirements development. This is a part time position, less than 30 hrs per week.



Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

    Bachelors degree in Aerospace Engineering.
  • 15+ years experience with TRIDENT II Missile and Reentry Body programs.
  • 20+ years professional experience with defense programs.
  • U.S. citizen with DoD security clearance, or ability to obtain and maintain clearance while employed with SPA.
  • Self-motivated with strong work ethic, time management, and interpersonal skills.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting Strategic Systems Programs, HQ.
  • U.S. Navy Submarine Officer experience.
  • Experience working with DoD engineering and acquisition processes.
