Job Title: Commercial Bank Optimization Manager

What you'll do: As a Commercial Bank Optimization Manager you'll be responsible for enhancing the client experience within an assigned Regional Banking segment by streamlining onboarding processes and ensuring timely, responsive support. You'll support your assigned business lines growth and adapt to market changes through agility, innovation and optimization of current processes. You'll help to improve operational efficiency and ensure business continuity is in place. Additionally, you'll ensure compliance and risk management to include preparation and resolution of audit, compliance and regulatory issues. You'll also drive strategic initiative/change (BAU, Tech, Enterprise) implementation, optimization, and management.
- Responsbile for supporting a Regional Banking segment through cross functional collaboration and effective communication between enterprise support and shared services team. Optimize personnel processes. Drive cost efficiency through cost reduction and resource optimization. Consult with senior management to define and manage initiatives which align to business strategy. Partner with enterprise departments as needed to accelerate growth and execution of strategic plan.
- Identify client experience improvements and partner with enterprise functions to optimize a segment of commercial banking. Communicate, alongside senior leadership, to a broad set of internal and external audiences aimed at building consensus and bank-wide engagement.
- Establish repeatable process for Business Reviews by working with supporting departments for required information. Ensure operational compliance to policies and procedures for your assigned segment. Oversee responses to regulatory inquiries as part of planned and ad hoc regulatory needs.
- Execute a high standard for effective performance, risk reporting, and tracking of Commercial Bank KRIs and KPIs. Identify and execute on initiatives to streamline business management workflows with focus on enabling overall department strategy and speed to market decisions. Create and maintain effective talent and ensure succession plans are in place.
- May lead and develop a team; responsible for hiring, coaching, performance management, training and development.
What you'll need:
- 10+ years of related experience in Banking, Operations, and Technology, Data Analytics or Project Management, Operations, Business Support, Financial Management or similar field.
- Bachelor's degree in related field required; Masters or MBA in related field preferred.
- Previous leadership experience required.
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of general banking operations, including deposit operations, loan administration, treasury management and/or other commercial banking products and services.
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of applicable regulatory and legal compliance obligations, rules and regulations, industry standards and practices.
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of the commercial bank and its business unit's functional areas, products, general bank policies, risk tolerances, and financial/accounting practices.
- Advanced speaking and writing communication skills.
- May require up to 50% travel.
