The Corporate Strategy & Development team supports long-term profitable growth through strategic planning / programs and end-to-end corporate development, from M&A strategy to transaction execution to integration.

Daikin Applied is seeking a Sr. Manager of Corporate Development to join our Corporate Development Integrations team. This team drives integration planning and execution for acquisitions and other strategic transactions. The team works closely with business leaders and the cross-functional teams to drive integration planning, operational implementation, synergy capture and overall value creation.

Location: Plymouth, MN (The ideal candidate will be based near Plymouth, MN and be willing to work on a hybrid schedule. Candidates seeking fully remote options will be considered).

What you will do:



  • Support and lead end-to-end corporate development processes, with a strong emphasis on integration execution to ensure seamless transitions and alignment with Daikin Applied Americas' strategic goals and culture.
  • Lead the development and execution of project plans, ensuring seamless coordination across large, cross-functional teams.
  • Lead cross-functional teams through strategic integration planning, smooth "Day 1" execution, and effective post-merger implementation, ensuring operational synergy and business alignment.
  • Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders including coordination with external service providers and partners
  • Manage synergy analysis and strategic planning, and driving actionable steps to capture efficiencies and maximize value creation across integration initiatives
  • Coordinate with the Corporate Development Transactions team to support strategic initiatives.
  • Facilitate effective communication with executive leadership in support of the corporate approval process
  • Support development of the extended corporate development team and continuous improvement / playbook development



Minimum Requirements:



  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, economics, engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in corporate strategy, management consulting, investment banking, or a comparable role or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Demonstrated project management skills
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to influence and build consensus among stakeholders.


Preferred Experience



  • Master of Business Administration (MBA)
  • Strong financial acumen, with experience in financial modeling, valuation techniques, and understanding of key financial statements.



The typical salary for this position ranges from $113,800.00 - $188,300.00 + bonus 20% - 25% in MN. The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade which this position falls. Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
