We are seeking a skilled Desktop Support Technician to ensure our IT infrastructure runs smoothly and efficiently. *Job Description:* Position Overview: The Desktop Support Technician will be responsible for providing technical support to our staff, ensuring the smooth operation of desktop and laptop computers, and managing Windows migration projects. This role requires a proactive individual with strong problem-solving skills and a customer-focused approach. *Key Responsibilities:* * Provide technical support for desktop and laptop computers, including hardware and software troubleshooting. * Manage and execute Windows migration projects, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations. * Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, software applications, and hardware peripherals. * Assist with network connectivity issues and collaborate with the IT team to resolve complex problems. * Maintain accurate records of IT assets, support requests, and resolutions. * Train and support end-users on new technologies and software applications. * Ensure compliance with IT policies and procedures. * Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to provide innovative solutions. *Qualifications:* * Proven experience as a Desktop Support Technician or similar role. * Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and experience with Windows migration projects. * Familiarity with network protocols, hardware, and software troubleshooting. * Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Customer-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality support. * Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator) are a plus. *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
