Work location is subject to change based on business needs. Summary of the Job: Generative AI is opening new doors across banking and finance, and FNBO is leading the way. We're using this technology to improve customer experiences and streamline operations while exploring what's next for our industry. We're looking for a developer with strong front-end skills to join our growing GenAI team. In this role, you'll create intuitive user interfaces that make AI capabilities accessible and valuable across our organization. You'll work with modern front-end frameworks to build responsive, user-friendly experiences while also contributing to our back-end systems. As technology in this space evolves rapidly, you'll have the opportunity to continuously learn and apply new techniques and tools. Your contributions will directly drive our transformation efforts as we reimagine banking processes and customer experiences. Working in our collaborative team environment, you'll participate in design, development, and testing while having ownership over your projects. You'll also connect with other development teams, helping them integrate our GenAI capabilities into their own applications as we expand these tools throughout FNBO. About This Role: Key Responsibilities: Design and implement end-to-end GenAI solutions with a focus on front-end delivery Create intuitive user interfaces for AI-powered features and tools Collaborate with UX designers to ensure AI interactions are user-friendly Work with back-end developers to integrate AI functionality Participate in code reviews and maintain high code quality standards Stay current with emerging GenAI technologies and front-end development best practices The Ideal Candidate for This Role: Required Qualifications: 2+ years of front-end development experience Strong proficiency with React ecosystem including: Vite build tooling React Router for application routing Tailwind CSS for styling ShadCN component library implementation Familiarity with generative AI frameworks such as: LangChain Vercel AI SDK Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks Knowledge of REST APIs and working with AI model endpoints Strong understanding of responsive design principles Excellent problem-solving and communication skills Key Responsibilities: Design and implement end-to-end GenAI solutions with a focus on front-end delivery Create intuitive user interfaces for AI-powered features and tools Collaborate with UX designers to ensure AI interactions are user-friendly Work with back-end developers to integrate AI functionality Participate in code reviews and maintain high code quality standards Stay current with emerging GenAI technologies and front-end development best practices Required Qualifications: 3-5 years of front-end development experience Strong proficiency with React ecosystem including: Vite build tooling React Router for application routing Tailwind CSS for styling ShadCN component library implementation Familiarity with generative AI frameworks such as: LangChain Vercel AI SDK Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks Knowledge of REST APIs and working with AI model endpoints Strong understanding of responsive design principles Excellent problem-solving and communication skills Preferred Qualifications: Experience integrating LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.) Knowledge of prompt engineering concepts Experience with AI/ML frameworks Understanding of banking or financial services industry Experience with TypeScript and testing frameworks Cultural Fit: Strong ownership mindset and accountability for results Preference for in-office, face-to-face collaboration and teamwork Excitement about pushing boundaries in the evolving space of GenAI Eagerness to tackle new challenges in applying AI technology within banking Collaborative mindset and ability to thrive in a forward-thinking team Passion for learning and adapting to rapidly changing technologies Interest in contributing to FNBO's digital transformation journey Compensation: Compensation range (base pay): $77,807.00-$128,381.00 This role may have a specific starting pay within this range. Final compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon work experience, education, and/or skill level.
