What You'll Do

This position will be located at our Corporate Office: 2355 W Pinnacle Peak Rd, Phoenix, AZ 85027

The Change Management Lead is a pivotal role responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing comprehensive change management strategies to support organizational transformation initiatives. This high-visibility position drives employee adoption, ensures alignment with strategic goals, and balances organizational objectives with the human experience of change. As a key member of the People and Culture team, the Change Management Lead collaborates with cross-functional teams, Agile groups, and leadership to mitigate risks, foster resilience, and maximize organizational adaptability while prioritizing psychological safety and stakeholder engagement.

Change Management Strategy & Execution

  • Develop and implement holistic change management strategies and frameworks that integrate technical, emotional, and cultural dimensions of transformation.
  • Design structured, adaptable change plans that address stakeholder impact, risk mitigation, adoption, and engagement, aligning with overall project and enterprise objectives.
  • Ensure the associate voice is reflected in change plans, and proactively identify ways to reduce disruption, boost engagement, and support well-being during periods of transition.
  • Partner with the Chief People Culture Officer, VP People and Culture, and senior leaders to ensure changes reinforce our desired culture, values, and behaviors. Help embed change resilience and agility across the workforce.
  • Create and oversee deliverables such as communication plans, training integrations, and transition strategies to ensure seamless execution and sustained results.
  • Employ proven methodologies and best practices to embed consistent, repeatable change management practices across programs and projects.
  • Assess how changes will impact teams, roles, skills, and the overall associate experience. Translate findings into clear paths for communication and support.

Stakeholder Engagement & Relationship Building

  • Act as a liaison between the People and Culture, VMO (Value Management Office), leadership, Agile teams, and other departments to foster alignment and build commitment to change initiatives.
  • Conduct in-depth stakeholder and impact analyses to identify perspectives, readiness, resistance points, and barriers, devising targeted strategies to address them.
  • Develop internal relationships with sponsors, business leads, change champions, and key stakeholders to facilitate effective change and reinforce adoption.
  • Design and implement tailored communication and engagement strategies, including leadership toolkits, to ensure clarity and alignment across diverse groups.

Risk Mitigation & Process Integration

  • Identify risks, change saturation, and process implications, collaborating with project managers, process owners, and Agile teams to create mitigation and transition plans.
  • Monitor employee readiness and organizational culture, proactively addressing potential overload, resistance, or skill gaps through interventions and capability-building tools.
  • Ensure change plans align with project timelines, governance processes, and other concurrent initiatives impacting the same groups.

Adoption, Measurement & Continuous Improvement

  • Define success metrics, track adoption and feedback, and adjust strategies to strengthen outcomes. Provide insights to the CPCO and leadership on change effectiveness and risks.
  • Build and enable a network of change champions to scale impact and train teams on change management practices.
  • Develop feedback loops, dashboards, and reports to measure adoption rates, sentiment, engagement metrics, and change health, providing actionable insights to leadership.
  • Monitor post-implementation behaviors and resistance, identifying strategies to reinforce adoption and sustain value delivery.
  • Collaborate with Learning & Development (L&D) to create training tools that address skill gaps and support long-term capability building.
  • Support leaders and cross-functional teams with tools and training that grow organizational change capability and psychological safety through uncertainty.

Guidance & Oversight

  • Provide consulting, guidance, and oversight on change management methodologies to team members, ensuring effective practices are utilized throughout the lifecycle.
  • Create safe spaces for employees to voice concerns and contribute to change processes, promoting psychological safety and organizational momentum.
  • Support enterprise-wide change governance, ensuring compliance with regulations and alignment with strategic priorities.

What You Bring

  • H.S. Diploma required.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Organizational Psychology, Change Management, Business Administration, or other related field Required.
  • Master's Degree Preferred.
  • 5-8 years similar or related experience progressive change management experience Required.
  • 3-5 years similar or related experience leadership experience Preferred.
  • Demonstrated expertise in human-centric change methodologies.
  • Advanced emotional intelligence and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in change impact assessment and measurement techniques.
  • Deep understanding of organizational culture, employee experience, and communication strategies.
  • Advanced strategic planning and implementation capabilities.
  • Expert-level facilitation and mediation skills.
  • Sophisticated data analysis and interpretation abilities.
  • Advanced project management techniques.
  • Comprehensive communication and presentation skills.
  • Remarkable adaptability and resilience.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to build trust and maintain confidentiality.
  • Capacity to work effectively in ambiguous and complex environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and inspire across all organizational levels.
  • Scaled Agile Framework experience a plus.
  • Certification in Change Management (Prosci, CMI).
  • Professional Agile Leadership Evidence-Based Management (PAL-EBM) Preferred.
  • Business Agility Foundations (ICP-BAF) Preferred.
  • Additional Agile Certification(s) a plus.
