Primary Purpose:




To develop and execute the strategy for camera and spectrometer business in designated territory, through channel partners and OEMs. To support and manage channel channels and OEMs to increase camera and spectrometer market coverage. To build strong presence in related market segment and build strong connections with KOLs in designated area.




Key Responsibilities



  • To develop and execute the strategy for camera and spectrometer business in designated territory, through channel channels and OEMs.
  • To hold regular meetings with line managers and other stakeholders, including marketing and application team, to make sure sales strategies were enacted properly.
  • To grow inbound and outbound leads and opportunities and build a strong pipeline.
  • To support and manage channel channels and OEMs to increase camera and spectrometer market coverage.
  • To build strong presence in related market segment and build strong connections with KOLs in designated area.
  • To hold marketing events, independently or working with partners, to increase awareness and influence of our camera and spectrometer products.
  • To identify growing market segments and develop camera and spectrometer solutions for those segments by working with application team and marketing team.
  • To make pipeline and forecast meeting on monthly base with channel partners and OEMs to make sure the forecast and pipeline will be accurate and updated in time.
  • To analyse sales behaviour and marketing events of channel partners and make sure enough focus was put to our camera and spectrometer business.
  • To give training to channel partners and OEMs to facilitate our success in the market.
  • To prepare related paperwork for channel partners and OEMs for the purpose of due diligence.
  • To use CRM as daily tools and process orders in time and drive shipment to confirm revenue.
  • To provide high level market /competitive information contributing to the overall sales strategy.
  • To attend marketing events and present Oxford Instruments in a professional way.
  • To give training to partners and OEMs to facilitate sales.
  • To provide formal weekly & monthly reports on territories with accurate account of regional booking status and forecast.
  • To work with I&A team to win together.

Professional Skills/ Abilities:

  • Candidates will be able to demonstrate extensive sales experience including line management experience at senior level or alternatively extensive sales experience in the Photonics industry at Senior level.
  • Significant experience in designing channel infrastructure both direct and via distributors across China Markets
  • Demonstrated ability in selling to end user customer base (research/scientific community)
  • Staff management/motivation
  • Demonstrated ability to contribute at strategic level and implement at organisational level
  • A strong network in relevant research & industrial communities to facilitate creation of new opportunities
