As a Transportation Stormwater Project Manager, you'll be responsible for taking a lead role in the development and delivery of stormwater projects in the Ohio region.
- The primary duties include planning, directing and monitoring all aspects of large multidiscipline projects or medium sized projects with a high degree of technical complexity, involving a diverse project staff. Is involved with the production and coordination of several projects concurrently.
- Conducts schematic, design development and contract document work sessions at project sites in conjunction with other project managers, appropriate technical professionals and other disciplines.
- Ensures project deliverables and supporting documentation are complete, understandable, conform to applicable and reasonable standards relative to their intended purpose, including client and HDR requirements.
- Is responsible to coordinate the staffing and workload through the entire project development to complete documents on schedule.
- Works with Business/Accounting Manager, Project Controller or Company Controller and the Department Manager or Managing Principal for project reviews. Responsible for implementing QA/QC procedures and completing reviews of roadway plans for complex projects.
- Responsible for execution of training for personnel as established by strategic plans. Acts as mentor/supervisor for less experienced Project Managers.
- Primary duties of the Senior Project Manager also include establishing and growing client relations through industry involvement and networking in the interests of increasing market share.
Senior Project Manager is also involved with marketing, contractual, design and production meetings.

- Best Management Practices (BMPs) for water quality treatment
- Low-impact development

- Perform watershed and water quality assessments and BMP prioritization
- Perform other duties as needed
In this role, you will work closely and manage engineers to prepare both planning level and design level projects including reports and contract/bid documents, and work collaboratively with other design disciplines and subconsultants to provide integrated solutions. This role reports to and works closely with the Transportation Hydraulics Section Manager. - 10 years including project/client management
- Project experience and existing relationships with DOT and local municipal clients
- Experience in conceptual, preliminary, and final design of drainage projects
- Experience with hydrology, hydraulic/drainage design and drainage facility design software
- Experience with supervising staff
- Experience with business development
- Preference given to local candidates
- Ability to manage a team of technical staff
- MS Office and MS Project experience is required (Access experience would be plus)
- Demonstrated leadership skills

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in related field
- 7 years related experience
- A minimum of 2 years project management experience
- Must have the ability to interact with various design teams, have excellent organizational, project management and communication (both written and verbal) skills
