Waukesha County is seeking an experienced and dynamic Park System Supervisor to lead the operations, staff, and stewardship of parkland and facilities across our award-winning Park System. This role is responsible for developing, implementing, and evaluating projects, programs, and daily operations to ensure exceptional service delivery and team performance.

The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, coach, and culture ambassador who brings a collaborative leadership style and a passion for public service. Success in this role requires strategic thinking, hands-on project management, and the ability to mentor staff while solving challenges creatively and effectively.

Minimum Training & Experience Requirements
1. High school graduation or GED equivalent.
2. Five years of experience in parks or golf course maintenance, administration, or planning, two years of which were in a second-level or supervisory capacity.
3. Recognized post high school education with specialization in parks management, horticulture, landscape architecture, forestry, or a directly related field may be substituted on a year-for-year basis up to three years of the general work experience.
