Position Description
Receives shipping orders from Production Control and/or Service Departments. Locates
appropriate units to be shipped from warehouse and transports necessary quantities to staging
area using powered industrial trucks and manual hand trucks. Locates required accessories and
transports to staging area to be shipped per shipping order. Checks off units against shipping
order and returns order to Production Control and/or Service Departments. Assists truck
drivers in locating large units with powered industrial trucks and manual hand trucks. Assists
in warehouse duties which includes unloading units from shuttle truck and transporting to and
stacking in proper storage area. Packages various accessory kits for shipments. Must be able
to identify by sight all units and accessories manufactured or purchased by the
company. Prepares all UPS shipments for pick up, which includes weighing units, recording
various information and fixing appropriate address information on unit. Performs daily
industrial truck inspections and reports improper equipment operation to Supervisor. Records
time and production and performs other duties as required. Key Responsibilities
1. Locates appropriate units and quantities to be shipped per shipping order. Transports units
to staging area using powered industrial trucks and manual hand trucks.
2. Identifies and locates required accessories to be shipped, packages, and carries to staging
area to be shipped.
3. Assists truck drivers in loading and stacking large units onto trucks by hand or by use of
powered industrial trucks and manual hand trucks.
4. Identifies all UPS shipments and transports units to shipping area. Performs necessary
duties in preparing UPS shipments for pick up.
5. Checks off all shipments against shipping order and returns order copy to Production
Control and/or Service Departments.
6. Performs warehouse duties as required which includes unloading units from shuttle with
powered industrial trucks and manual hand trucks and transporting to appropriate storage
area in warehouse.
7. Swedges infrared tubes and assembles tube kits as needed.
8. Product serial number scanning
9. Maintain and Print Literature as necessary.
10. Maintain and Store Product appropriately (Finished Goods, Raw Materials, Corrugated,
etc.)
11. Utilize SAP for Shipping, Inventory, and Order Transactions.
12. Records time and production.
13. Works eight-hour shift concurrently with other plant operations. Periodic daily and
weekend overtime as production schedules demand.
14. May be assigned task of training new/transferred employees as required.
15. Other essential functions as may be assigned.

High School diploma or equivalent. Requires reading, writing, adding, subtracting, ability to operate powered industrial trucks and
manual hand trucks, and following of instructions. .Must be able to successfully master all
elements of training control document for this job. Must be able to use routing program on
