  • We are hiring immediately for a full time MAINTENANCE COORDINATOR position.
  • Location: TAMU - 600 Agronomy Road, College Station, TX 77843. Note: online applications accepted only.
  • Schedule: Full time schedule. Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm. More details upon interview.
  • Requirement: Previous administrative experience required. Valid driver's license required.
  • Pay Range: $14.00 per hour to $17.50 per hour

Job Summary

Summary: Provide administrative support and customer service for SSC staff and customers at Texas A&M University.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide various administrative support for Shop Managers and Supervisors within Maintenance.
  • Answer the telephone and provide general information and assistance to customers; operate standard office equipment.
  • Prepare correspondence, forms and other documents; assist in data collection and data entry; maintain paper and electronic files and records; may assist in the preparation and proofing of written materials.
  • Works with the AiM system. Research work requests, produce shop reports, and work with the supervisors on aging work orders.
  • Provide customer service, contact customers, provide status updates, act as the point-of-contact (POC) when Aggieworks is unable to reach supervisor or the zone POC.
  • Supports department strategic goals and objectives and ensures overall policies promote the efficient and safe operation of the unit.
  • Provide support on special project assignments.
  • Perform related and other departmental duties as required.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

  • Five years of experience in an Administrative Assistant position.
  • High school diploma or equivalent. Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Working knowledge of Windows operating system and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Attention to detail in composing, typing and proofing materials, establishing priorities and meeting deadlines required.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills required.
  • Must be exceptionally motivated and have excellent interpersonal skills. Exhibits initiative, responsibility, flexibility and leadership. Has strong organizational and computer skills. Ability to prioritize tasks and information quickly and efficiently. Ability to maintain confidentiality.
