Shift: Shift 1/5:00:00 AM to 7:00:00 AM

Minimum to Midpoint Pay Rate:$20.00 - $25.00 / hour

Coordinates and directs daily operations for assigned areas. Under the supervision of the leadership team, is responsible for the execution of service that is timely, high quality, and meets service and regulatory standards. Ensures the team follows established policies, procedures, and practices. Responsible for safe food service, including sanitation, safe food handling, and temperature monitoring. Coordinates operations with other areas of the department.

Promotes teamwork and collaborates with other organization employees to manage services and resolve daily issues impacting service. Coaches and trains team members and documents discussions. Accountable for managing resources for day-to-day operations food, supplies, and staffing. Plays a critical role in managing and distributing employee assignments for maximum quality and efficiency each shift. Serves as a leader and mentor for the department and organization. Depending on the assignment, working alongside staff up to 90% of their time may be required and/or filled in for staff vacancies.

Education: Associate Degree or equivalent preferred. High school diploma or equivalent required.

Experience: One year of foodservice experience One year of supervisory/lead experience or other other related experience.

Certifications: Food Manager Certification from a Florida Department of Health-approved provider is required within 90 days of job entry. CDM is required for post-acute facilities within six months of hire.

License: n/a

Other: Possesses basic computer skills (Outlook, MS Word). Ability to demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent customer service skills are required. Ability to perform two to three hours of continuous physical activity, including standing and walking. Talking, hearing, and visual acuity are essential.
