COMPENSATION Pay or shift range: $83,000- $120,000 USD annually. This is the base compensation hiring range for this role. JOB SUMMARY As a Security Engineer you would be responsible for protecting Sun Country's computer systems and networks from threats by ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data. You will design, implement, and manage security infrastructure, including intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), SIEM solutions, endpoint security, and vulnerability management tools. You will be asked to perform security assessments, penetration testing, and vulnerability scanning to identify weaknesses in systems and applications. Additional responsibilities include analyzing security logs and alerts, responding to security incidents, and assisting in conducting forensic investigations. You may be asked to develop and automate security controls, define security architectures, and ensure compliance with relevant security standards and regulations. Experience in areas like network security, cryptography, authentication/authorization mechanisms, and secure coding practices is crucial.
