Job Category: Full-Time/ Direct Hire Compensation: $115,000 - $125,000. Total Compensation package BBSI has partnered with a prestigious General Contractor based in Sherman Oaks. We are looking for a detail-oriented Construction Estimator with a passion for luxury home building. This role is ideal for someone who excels in a meticulous, highly customized, and detail-driven residential construction setting and wants to be part of a company that builds dreams into reality! About Us We are a renowned high-end custom home builder specializing in luxury residential projects across Beverly Hills, Pacific Palisades, Bel Air, Trousdale, and Hollywood Hills. Our commitment to excellence and craftsmanship has made us a leader in the industry. As we continue to grow, we are seeking an experienced Estimator to join our dynamic and talented team. What You'll Do As our Estimator, you'll play a key role in ensuring our projects are executed with precision and efficiency. Your responsibilities will include: Budget Preparation - Analyze plans, specifications, and site requirements to develop accurate cost estimates. Subcontractor Evaluation - Review and assess subcontractor estimates, ensuring alignment with project scope and pricing. Internal Estimating - Cross-check subcontractor bids by preparing independent estimates based on experience and market knowledge. Cost Analysis - Identify and resolve cost discrepancies through research and data collection. Bid Development - Prepare and present competitive project bids and proposals. Regulatory Compliance - Navigate building codes and stay informed on industry regulations and safety standards. Site Involvement - Visit job sites as needed to ensure estimates align with real-world conditions. What We're Looking For To excel in this role, you should have: 10+ years of estimating experience, with at least 5 years in high-end custom homes Strong ability to interpret and analyze blueprints, specifications, and project plans Expertise in construction cost analysis and bid development Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously Impeccable attention to detail and problem-solving skills Strong communication skills-both written and verbal Proficiency in MS Excel and other estimating software Why Join Us?
