UCR School of Medicine is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Standardized Patient Educator (SPE) to join our Center for Simulated Patient Care (CSPC) team. The SPE will leverage their educational and technical expertise to develop, implement, and evaluate top-quality simulation-based activities. Collaborating closely under the guidance of the Director of the Standardized Patient Program, the SPE will work alongside faculty, students, staff, and external affiliates to enhance simulation training standards. Responsibilities include co-leading various projects, managing curriculum editing, scheduling, and ensuring compliance within the CSPC's medical education programs. The ideal candidate will actively participate in state consortium events and bring a proactive approach to advancing simulation training initiatives.

The full salary range for the Standardized Patient Educator (SPE) is $63,036.72 - $95,880.96 annually. However, the pay scale for this position is up to $77,027 annually. We base salary offers on a variety of considerations, such as education, licensure and certifications, experience, and other business and organizational needs.

Applicants must have current work authorization when accepting a UCR staff position. Currently, we are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa for staff.
