Your Team, Your Impact

At Marvell Technology, we develop and produce semiconductors and related technology, with a focus on data infrastructure solutions. As the Senior Director of Customer Quality Engineering, you will lead a dedicated team responsible for ensuring the highest quality and reliability of our products, directly impacting customer satisfaction and trust. Your role is pivotal in maintaining Marvell's reputation for excellence in the semiconductor industry.

What You Can Expect

  • Customer Engagement: Serve as the primary liaison for quality-related discussions with customers, understanding and addressing their specific needs and expectations.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Engineering, and Manufacturing teams to integrate customer requirements into our Quality Management processes.
  • Issue Resolution: Lead efforts to address customer concerns, RMAs, and complaints, implementing corrective and preventive actions to resolve issues and prevent recurrence.
  • Quality Systems: Implement and manage systems to gather customer feedback, track customer satisfaction scores, and analyze quality and reliability data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present reports to senior management, highlighting key performance indicators (KPIs) and progress on quality initiatives.
  • Team Leadership: Lead a team of quality professionals in developing and executing quality improvement initiatives based on customer feedback.
  • Culture Promotion: Foster a culture of "quality first" and reliability within the organization, promoting best practices and continuous learning.

What We're Looking For

  • Educational Background: Master's Degree in Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field required. Advanced certifications such as Six Sigma Black Belt or Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 15 years in the semiconductor industry, with at least 5 years leading Customer Quality Engineering. with advanced nodes (5nm, 3nm, and beyond) is essential. Experience with board/systems beyond component quality is nice to have.
  • Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of quality management principles, methodologies, and tools such as SPC, FMEA, and APQP. Experience with advanced packaging (2.5D, 3D, etc.) is highly desirable.
  • Customer Focus: Proven track record of supporting hyperscalers and managing customer escalations effectively.
  • Leadership Skills: Exceptional ability to lead and motivate teams, manage projects, and drive organizational change. High motivation and strong organizational skills; goal and people orientation; ability to operate independently and make decisions with minimal supervision.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex technical information to diverse audiences.

Expected Base Pay Range (USD)

202,650 - 303,600, $ per annum

The successful candidate's starting base pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location and market conditions. The expected base pay range for this role may be modified based on market conditions.
