Quality Technician II

What you'll be doing:

• Conducts inspections of in-process materials and in-process finished products to meet customer specifications.
• Interact with internal customers (Shift Supervisors, Operations Manager, Mechanics, Operators, etc.) and advise when inspection results do not meet customer specifications.
• Perform assigned monthly audits.
• Completes daily paperwork and all related activities, including but not limited to record keeping and filing.
• Initiates, reviews, and follows all standard operating procedures (SOP's) in area of responsibility.
• Assists with training of new associates.
• Perform troubleshooting and preventative maintenance on inspection equipment as required.
• Assures and maintains safe and healthful working conditions while enforcing safety rules and regulations
• Supports and follows the requirements of the Food Safety & Quality System.
• Work OT as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

We'd love to hear from you if:

• You have road training in a related field, usually acquired through high school education, General Education Development (GED), or through equivalent work experience.

• 1-2 years of Quality or Manufacturing experience.

• Ability to communicate effectively, write effectively, read, comprehend, and follow complicated verbal and written instruction.

• Must have mid-level computer skills to learn and utilize QAD, Excel, Word, Outlook, L2L, Infinity, and other software and programs necessary to perform job functions.
