Position: Quality Technician II
Location: DeForest, WI
Working hours: 6pm-6am
Base pay: $29.15

- Conducts inspections of in-process materials and in-process finished products to meet customer specifications.
- Interact with internal customers (Shift Supervisors, Operations Manager, Mechanics, Operators, etc.) and advise when inspection results do not meet customer specifications.
- Perform assigned monthly audits.
- Completes daily paperwork and all related activities, including but not limited to record keeping and filing.
- Initiates, reviews, and follows all standard operating procedures (SOP's) in area of responsibility.
- Assists with training of new associates.
- Perform troubleshooting and preventative maintenance on inspection equipment as required.
- Assures and maintains safe and healthful working conditions while enforcing safety rules and regulations
- Supports and follows the requirements of the Food Safety & Quality System.
- Work OT as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
We'd love to hear from you if:
- You have road training in a related field, usually acquired through high school education, General Education Development (GED), or through equivalent work experience.
- 1-2 years of Quality or Manufacturing experience.
- Ability to communicate effectively, write effectively, read, comprehend, and follow complicated verbal and written instruction.
- Must have mid-level computer skills to learn and utilize QAD, Excel, Word, Outlook, L2L, Infinity, and other software and programs necessary to perform job functions.
