Job Description:

We are actively seeking a talented Senior Compliance (Privacy) Analyst to join our Enterprise Compliance Department in Newport Beach, CA. This role can be will be hybrid.

How you will make an impact:

  • As a Privacy Compliance Analyst, you will be part of the Enterprise Compliance department tasked with administering and maintaining the Privacy Program, including maintaining Privacy Notices.

  • You will partner with various areas, such as internal clients, Operational Risk & Resilience, Technology, Legal, and others across Pacific Life, to support Privacy and Compliance efforts.

  • Your duties will include assessing regulatory requirements, identifying, and executing Privacy program maturation and road map progression, providing documentation, facilitating privacy training & awareness, and updating policies.

  • You will serve as a member of working groups related to the Privacy program.

  • You will function as an initial Privacy Office subject matter expert in assessing and reviewing privacy inquiries, complaints, and incidents. and reporting on trends and patterns. You will independently gather information, lead assigned privacy investigations, timely and accurately document case files, direct investigations into root cause analysis, address mitigation, and work with impacted business units to develop and complete corrective action and minimize risk of reoccurrence.

  • You will support the implementation of responsible AI practices and enterprise AI governance program.

  • You will also contribute to Enterprise Compliance related projects and perform additional administrative and project work as assigned.

The experience you will bring:

  • Undergraduate degree with at least 5 years of work experience in a compliance role, preferably in the financial services industry.

  • Good judgment and the ability to spot issues and escalate matters when needed.

  • You have an understanding of technical systems and database use within the privacy space.

  • CIPP certification

  • Experience with compliance program administration.

  • Ability to write succinct, clear and business friendly documents.

  • You have flexibility to adjust priorities to meet changing timeframes and requests.

  • You have the ability to learn, adapt, multi-task, and adjust quickly in a dynamic environment.

  • You have excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong partnering skills to interact with all levels within the organization.

Base Pay Range:

The base pay range noted represents the company's good faith minimum and maximum range for this role at the time of posting. The actual compensation offered to a candidate will be dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to experience, qualifications and geographic location. Also, most employees are eligible for additional incentive pay.

$100,530.00 - $122,870.00
