Staffmark is looking for a skilled CNC Programmer to join our team in Ontario, CA. If you have a passion for precision and want to play a key role in producing high-quality products, this is the perfect opportunity for you!

Salary: $70,000 - $80,000 per year

Shift: 1st Shift, Monday - Friday

You'll work with engineering and manufacturing teams to optimize workflows, troubleshoot issues, and support continuous improvement efforts. Additionally, you'll provide training and guidance to machinists to ensure quality production.

Responsibilities:



  • Program CNC mills, lathes, and other equipment.
  • Optimize programs for accuracy, efficiency, and repeatability.
  • Prepare setup instructions, tooling diagrams, and maintain program records.
  • Select appropriate tools and fixtures for each application.
  • Collaborate with engineering to ensure manufacturability.
  • Verify program accuracy and troubleshoot machining issues.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and maintain safe practices.
  • Train and mentor shop personnel on CNC operations.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve programming or machining issues.
  • Complete related documentation and follow quality systems.
  • Be available for overtime as needed.



Qualifications:



  • 5-10 years of CNC programming experience.
  • Proven ability to perform setups, program edits, and hold tolerances of 0.0002".
  • Expertise in Virtual Gibbs, FeatureCAM, and PartMaker.
  • Strong understanding of machine shop math and trigonometry.
  • Knowledge of feeds, speeds, and modern machining practices.
  • GD&T training and practical experience.
  • Strong leadership, training, and problem-solving skills.
