Job Description

The Integrations Officer will support the Joint Overhead Persistent-Infrared Center (JOPC) by providing technical planning, systems engineering, and integration expertise for current and future National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) and DoD Program of Record systems. The role involves advising on major system acquisition requirements, supporting mission management and operations for the Intelligence Community (IC) and Department of Defense (DoD), and ensuring seamless integration and enhancement of ground architecture and mission-critical systems.

Responsibilities



  • Perform technical planning and develop both high-level and detailed system requirements for OPIR and related systems.
  • Support test planning and execution, including the creation of use cases, test procedures, and test data.
  • Conduct and manage programs, projects, and activities to perform operational assessments and support highly technical operations and intelligence.
  • Participate in agile scrum meetings, identifying future enhancements and priorities for systems development.
  • Diagnose technical problems, plan solution paths, and coordinate with developers and engineers for efficient and timely resolution.
  • Provide expertise in integrating, configuring, upgrading, compiling, and supporting COTS (Commercial Off-The-Shelf) and GOTS (Government Off-The-Shelf) software.
  • Test and evaluate systems deployed into operations in support of USSPACECOM and NGA requirements.
  • Prepare and deliver analysis, products, briefings, and plans for review and acceptance by government stakeholders.
  • Travel as required for Technical Exchange Meetings, Factory Acceptance Testing, Program Management Reviews, and other user/developer engagements.
  • Support may require shift or evening work (up to 160 hours per year) during major system installations or upgrades.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's (Master's preferred) in Computer Science, a related field or equivalent experience.
  • 5 years system design experience, including hardware/software integration experience.
  • Security Clearance: Active TS/SCI with ability to obtain SAP and STO clearances; willingness to undergo a Counterintelligence polygraph.
  • Deep technical understanding of OPIR systems and sub-systems used in mission management and operations for the IC and DoD.
  • Experience with systems engineering, integration, and enhancement of large-scale government systems.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Jira, and Confluence.
  • Experience with test planning, execution, and operational assessments.
  • Ability to integrate, configure, upgrade, and support COTS/GOTS software.
  • Experience working in agile environments and participating in scrum meetings.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for preparing and presenting technical briefings and documentation.
  • Ability and willingness to travel for technical and programmatic meetings as required.



Preferred Qualifications



  • Experience supporting NGA, USSPACECOM, or similar IC/DoD programs.
  • Familiarity with system architecture design, requirements management, and verification processes.
  • Prior experience with operational testing and evaluation of mission-critical systems.
  • Exposure to system administration and troubleshooting in Linux/Red Hat environments.
  • OPIR collection operations or analysis experience
  • Familiarity with MD, SDA, SSC OPIR program offices

Salary Range - Colorado:105-130k
