Salt Lake Behavioral Health is seeking a multifaceted team player for our Sales Strategist / Digital Marketing Specialist position.

Position: Full-time salary position with benefits

This position serves as a Business Development Liaison for approximately 55% of the time. This responsibility includes visiting new and potential referral sources, building and maintaining strong relationships, and effectively promoting Salt Lake Behavioral Health's inpatient and outpatient service lines. This includes presenting hospital features and benefits to medical professionals, clinics, mental health providers, and community partners.

The successful candidate will be a self-starter and finisher, comfortable with public speaking and confident in professional communication. They will demonstrate persistence, organization, and strategic thinking in approaching external outreach efforts to generate referrals and strengthen community partnerships. In addition to the above, this position will assist the Director of Business Development with daily marketing goals and tasks, hosting events, and providing digital support where necessary. This position will be expected to regularly contribute to business development efforts and support all ongoing marketing campaigns and social media strategies.

The Digital Marketing/Graphic Design Specialist will also be required to use their design skills and creativity to manage the online brand for Salt Lake Behavioral Health. This includes keeping up with the maintenance and updating of Salt Lake Behavioral Health Hospital website, graphic design of print materials, creating digital advertising campaigns, ordering promo materials, leveraging email marketing to increase referrals, and other creative marketing strategies. They will be responsible for designing marketing materials such as catalogs, advertisements, brochures/fliers, web designs, social media content, photo editing, email blasts and funnels, videography, and more. As well as developing and maintaining digital advertising campaigns on platforms such as Google, YouTube, and Meta, and audits current campaigns to improve performance. Maintains reports on advertising metrics and trends.

This position executes the Salt Lake Behavioral Health social media plan by employing a content strategy across key platforms. Works with UHS Corporate Social Media department and at the Facility to plan and conceptualize, schedule, and develop new and ongoing campaigns deployed across social media platforms. Captures photos and videos of facility events and promotions for posting. Improves online reputation by soliciting patient testimonials and reviews, updating website, and capturing video testimonials to promote facility programs. They also manage the website, blog, and employs SEO tactics to improve organic reach.

Qualifications

  • Education: High School Degree or equivalent required. Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Development or similarly related field preferred.
  • Experience: One to five (1-5) years experience working in a digital marketing, graphic design, or business development role.
  • Additional Knowledge/Skills: Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite. Must have excellent writing skills and the ability to write about complex subjects in a manner that is appealing to a non-medical audience (i.e., patients, families, community members). Working knowledge of Google Ads and/or social ads. Working knowledge of social media copywriting best practices and familiarity with Search Engine Optimization (SEO) techniques for web and social media. Fluent in AP Style and experience with WordPress preferred. Must have strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to develop productive professional relationships. Experience working in healthcare outreach, physician marketing, or behavioral health business development preferred. Public speaking, presentation, or field sales experience is a plus. Strong time management skills are essential, as well as the ability to handle many concurrent tasks/projects, work independently or collaboratively with the UHS Social Media Manager, Director of Business Development, and other leadership. Position requires occasional travel to external referral sources and community events.
