Description
The Program Supervisor of Employment & Education (EE) will work collaboratively with their fellow EE Program Supervisor and report to the Women's Justice Program (WJP) Director of Employment & Education. Responsibilities include staff supervision, project management, fidelity to grant requirements, reporting, crafting procedures, establishing and enhancing community partnerships, and leading employment & education expansion efforts. These include overseeing workforce development, High School Equivalency (HSE) programming, post-secondary pathways, building partnerships with employers and educational institutions, and leaning into research and data to inform decisions in an effort to increase educational attainment leading to true living wages. Will ensure quality service, provide case consultation, encourage a continuous learning environment, and develop self and employees for success and high performance. WJP Employment & Education programming is specifically provided to women and men who have experienced criminal legal involvement. Workforce development and exploration is provided in group and individual sessions using standardized assessments, research-based curricula, and latest employment data. High School Equivalency classes and testing are offered in community, office, and jail settings as a proven method for reducing recidivism and increasing potential for living wage employment. Post-secondary pathways focused on in-demand occupations are offered in collaboration with educational institution partners to further educational attainment. The EE Program Supervisor will oversee the above described programming and pending expansion efforts to increase educational access and quality standards. Qualifications
