Summary

The ERP team seeking a talented and motivated individual to support our enterprise-wide financial systems and security processes and controls. As a SeniorBusiness Systems Analyst, you will play a key role in working with and optimizing multiple systems and complex processes throughout the company to ensure the accurate and reliable delivery of company financial information with adequate controls.

The candidate would be responsible for the following:



  • Provision and manage security measures to protect organizational assets.
  • Ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley 404 (SOX) standards.
  • Manage periodic security audits.
  • Implement and oversee segregation of duties to prevent conflicts of interest and ensure proper access controls.
  • Utilize Sailpoint Identity IQ for identity management and access governance.
  • Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and ensure compliance.
  • Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and documentation.
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure security measures are integrated into all aspects of the organization.
  • Provide training and support to staff on security protocols and best practices.
  • Stay updated on the latest security trends, threats, and technologies.

Support ERP System Transformation Project:

  • Learn existing Security Administration processes from existing subject matter experts within the APS organization.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Promote cross-functional teamwork. They work with end-users to create implementation plans, project timelines, and processes.
  • Software Configuration: Assist in designing and configuring software security parameters. Ensure that the ERP system, Oracle Fusion, aligns with the organization's needs.
  • Status Reporting: Aid in status reporting, providing updates on project progress to stakeholders and management.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for improvement throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Mentoring: Mentor other team members, sharing expertise and knowledge and transitioning support role to production support upon project implementation.



Post implementation of the ERP transformation project:



  • Manage the ongoing support and optimization of large enterprise financial systems and processes including security administration and controls
  • Conduct systems optimization of high-activity processes and functions
  • Optimize the financial functions and processes of a wide variety of systems beyond finance, including work management, customer billing, supply chain, and inventory systems.
  • Work alongside IT to design, test, and implement new functionality and system improvements
  • Design and help develop custom solutions to supplement unique company needs
  • Continuously develop your technical skills to analyze and solve data irregularities

What We're Looking For:

Successful candidates tend to have a process optimization background (e.g., Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, Operations Management, Management Information Systems) , security administration, and acquire their functional business knowledge along the way.



  • Strong expertise in systems and process optimization
  • Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work with and analyze large datasets
  • Knowledgeable in providing functional support to large enterprise systems
  • Knowledgeable in the implementation and maintenance of large enterprise systems
  • Accounting/Finance knowledge a plus including SOX Controls
  • Oracle Fusion ERP knowledge a plus
  • SailPoint Identity IQ knowledge a plus



The Senior SOX Security Business Analyst will be responsible for provisioning security measures, ensuring SOX compliance, and managing segregation of duties within the organization. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Sailpoint Identity IQ and a strong background in security protocols and compliance standards.

Minimum Requirements

  • BS/BA equivalency or an equivalent combination of four years relevant work experience and relevant college coursework in business, information technology or a related area.
  • An additional five (5) years of progressively responsible experience where strong understanding of database design, structure, functions and processes and experience with database tools is obtained.
  • Previous experience with the systems specific to the functional area may also be required.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of business processes and operational knowledge including functions, procedures, processes, and computer systems.
  • Ability to identify process improvement opportunities and tie functional needs to technology solutions.
  • Demonstrated project/team experience and ability to prioritize work.
  • Strong analytical ability to review data, see relationships and patterns as well as communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Experience in managing projects and identifying and resolving issues.
  • Expertise in PC applications including advanced skill level in Microsoft Excel, Access, and Word.
  • Requires proficient knowledge of emerging practices and technologies used within the area.
  • Knowledge of applicable federal and state laws, regulations, and standards impacting business areas.
  • Demonstrated communication skills, both verbal and written.

Major Accountabilities

1) Participates or leads projects to formulate and define business processes, systems scope and objectives through research and fact finding combined with a good understanding of business functions, systems, and industry requirements.

2) Participates in or oversees the analysis and recommendation, installation and maintenance of new and enhancement of existing systems.

3) Provides input and gathers functional requirements, policy/procedure interpretation, and future business system needs. Supports upgrades, patches, fixes, and new implementations by performing testing, process and system documentation, and supports end user training and roll out efforts.

4) Works within areas of responsibility on process improvement initiatives. Analyzes work process design, workflow and technology solutions to streamline, automate and improve work processes.

5) Researches, analyzes, and resolves routine to complex business/operations problems related to systems utilized within the business units. Interfaces with IS or vendors to resolve issues as necessary. Follows up with resolution of problems to ensure timely response and customer satisfaction.

6) Coordinates and participates in the development of effective business cases using sound cost/benefit analysis with some direction. For smaller projects, may coordinate assigned phases of project planning and execution, including estimating resources and tasks, creating, managing and controlling project schedules and resources.

7) Provides operational support for multiple business areas and systems including, but not limited to, researching and resolving system problems, system setup and maintenance, and data integrity audits.

8) Writes, maintains and supports a variety of reports or queries utilizing appropriate reporting tools. Assists in the development of standard and complex reports for customers. Assists in the development and maintenance of standardized business reporting protocol and ensures data integrity and consistency in all reporting aspects.

9) Participates in project team assignments either as a project lead or as a key team member. Responsible for coordinating activities within the functional business areas. Direct areas of project responsibility could include business needs analysis, project scope definition, testing strategy, roll out and user acceptance.

10) Maintains documentation of system changes, business processes, guidelines and procedures, and tools and training aids needed to support business unit.

11) May support application/system training to functional users.
